February Knight of the Month – Dan Heidrich

Dan Heidrich is a “doer.” After joining the Knights of Columbus in 2005 he was told to recruit more men to join our Council. Brothers Dan O’Brien, Mike Golebiewski and Dan Potts all joined due to Dan’s encouragement. When our Council set a goal of updating our meeting chamber this year he took the lead. Dan coordinated the project which included painting the chamber, laying down a new carpet, organizing the Council’s many awards, and the unenviable task of cleaning out our storage closets.

February Family of the Month – Louie and Kathy Egashira

Louie and Kathy bring many talents to our Council and parish. Louie is a regular in the kitchen at our monthly Pancake Breakfasts and serves as a reader at Sunday Mass. He and his wife recently organized a Christmas Concert, Emmanuel – The Light of the World, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, involving an ecumenical gathering of adults and young students from several local schools. Their love for music was a beautiful tribute to the baby Jesus. Congratulations Louie and Kathy and thank you for sharing your wonderful singing with all of us.
